Italy is restarting from tourism, relaunching a sector of primary importance for the country. Instead, the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, has signed a new ordinance, effective from 16 May 2021 to 31 July 2021 that that allows entry from the countries of the European Union and the Schengen Area, as well as from Great Britain and Israel, without mandatory quarantine and extend to Canada the Covid-tested flights already operating from U.S.A. to Italy.
TRAVELLING FROM U.S.A.
The ‘Covid-tested’ flights are already operating from USA to ROME (Roma-Fiumicino) and MILAN (Milano-Malpensa) airports. In next weeks will be extended to VENICE (Venezia-Marco Polo) and Naples (Napoli-Capodichino), where new trials will be started to link USA, Canada, Japan and United Arab Emirate with the most important and popular Italian destinations!
The international airports in the United States authorized for the Covid-tested flights to Italy are Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York (John Fitzgerald Kennedy e Newark Liberty), Philadelphia, Washington DC.
Passengers that travel on Covid-tested flights must take a molecular or antigen test before the departure and, if the result is negative, upon arrival at their destination they are authorized to enter and travel in Italy without having to comply with health surveillance and fiduciary isolation, where otherwise is still required.
All passengers entering Italy will be required to complete the digital Passenger Locator Form (https://app.euplf.eu/), before entering the Italian territory or, alternatively, the paper self-declaration form (https://www.esteri.it/mae/resource/doc/2021/04/modulo_rientro_sintetico_25_aprile_2021_eng.pdf).
