With the decree approved in recent weeks, Italy will abolish the use of the GREEN PASS and therefore any form of restriction in Italian territory as of May 1, 2022.
The path back to a state of absolute lack of restrictions has already begun with the abolition of the quarantine for those entering Italy from abroad and continues today, April 1, with new openings.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
From April 1 the green pass will no longer be required on buses and local public transport, while from April 1 to April 30 to take airplanes, trains and ships it will be necessary to show at least the basic green pass (which is obtained with an antigen test valid for 48 hours or a molecular test valid for 72 hours The obligation to wear the Ffp2 masks will continue until April 30.

TOURISM
from April 1, the compulsory Green pass will be stopped for hotels, outdoor restaurants and bars, outdoor parties and ceremonies.Foreign tourists enter with the basic green pass in restaurants and bars indoors for table and counter service. The green pass is not required for hotel guests who go to the internal restaurants and bars.

SERVICES
From April 1 no green pass for shops, hairdressers, barbers, beauticians, public offices, banks, outdoor sports, spas, festivals and fairs, museums and exhibitions.

 

 QUARANTINE

The Council of Ministers has decided to stop quarantines from contact with a positive case at Covid. From April 1 only those who have contracted the virus will have to remain isolated at home, while those who have had contact will have to apply the self-surveillance regime.

As of March 1 2022, the quarantine for citizens arriving in our country and coming from a state outside the European borders had been abolished.

 

MASKS
Until April 30, face masks remain mandatory indoors when social distancing is not possible. The surgical mask will suffice for work, while the Ffp2 remains mandatory in means of transport, closed cable cars, cinemas, theaters and sports competitions.
