DAY 1 MILAN – THE MONFERRATO (130 km) – SERRALUNGA DI CREA (80 km) – TURIN (65 km)
Departure at 9.00 am from Milan to the historical region of Monferrato, Piedmont, land of wines and good food. Among hills and vineyards, arrival to Acqui Terme, main centre of the Alto Monferrato, an old Roman town and nowdays an important bath city. Visit of the old town, lunch in a typical restaurant to taste the local small ravioli, knows as “al plin” cooked with butter cream or a popular roast sauce. You will try red wines and local desserts, such as bunet. Departure to Crea, in the Basso Monferrato, famous for its sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage. Visit. Accommodation in Turin. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 2 TURIN – SUPERGA (8 km) – ROYAL PALACE OF VENARIA (20 km) - TURIN (15 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day dedicated to visit the town. Departure to to Superga, the second hill of the region. Here, visit at the Basilica, built at the beginning of the 1700 by command of the King of Sardinia, Victor Amadeus II as the dedication to the Virgin in order to celebrate the victory of the Piedmont Army versus France and Spain. Continue to the famous Savoy Route, including the Royal Palace, in Venaria, the greatest abode of the Royal Family. This imposing structure inspired the French architects during the project of renovation of the Palace of Versailles, near Paris. Built in the second half of the 1600 by command of the Savoy Duke Charles Emmanuel that gave it as a gift to his wife, the palace presents the main central building as well as the largest park of the region. Lunch at your own. In the afternoon, guided tour of Turin. First capital of the Kingdom of Italy, main centre of car factory FIAT, cultural and university centre, it is nowadays the fourth biggest town of the country for inhabitants and the third for industrial development. The visit of the downtown includes Piazza Castello, with Palazzo Madama, old Roman gate and the Royal Palace; the Mole Antonelliana, the major landmark of the city, built by the architect Alessandro Antonelli in 1873: it houses the Museo Nazionale del Cinema, the National Museum of Film; the Cathedral which hedges in the Shroud, a linen cloth bearing the image of a man who appears to have been physically traumatized in a manner consistent with crucifixion, Jesus, according to the catholic tradition; Piazza San Carlo, with its galleries in typical Piedmont style; walk through Via Roma and Garibaldi and free time to enjoy the everyday life of this amazing city. DAY 3 TURIN - THE LANGAS: TRUFFLE AND WINE (60 km) – PARMA (210 km)
Breakfast. Departure to La Morra, a little and charming village which dominates the Langhe from the top of its hill. Visit. Later on, arrival to Alba, capital of truffle, wine Barolo and chocolate Ferrero. Lunch in a restaurant with truffle tasting (black in March, white in November) and wines combined with local dishes. Departure to Parma and accommodation. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4 PARMA - THE PROSCIUTTO (25 km) – PARMA (25 km)
Breakfast. Departure to the land of the prosciutto di Parma DOP. Visit of a factory in the suburbs of Parma with a lunch in a typical agriturismo. Return to Parma to discover the old town of the city of Giuseppe Verdi, its music and excellent food. Accommodation. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5 PARMA - THE PARMESAN (15 km) – BOLOGNA (90 km)
Breakfast. In the morning, visit of a factory that produces Parmesan cheese: the perfect place where to learn and discover all the steps of the production of one of the most popular cheese in the world. Lunch in a typical trattoria in the sorroundings of Parma and travel to Bologna. Accommodation. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6 BOLOGNA - MODENA: THE ACETO BALSAMICO (45 km) – BOLOGNA (45 km)
Breakfast. In the morning guided tour of Bologna including the medieval old town with its monuments and charming streets, food markets, university. Lunch at your own. In the afternoon, visit of a producer of aceto balsamico di Modena. Return to Bologna with an “Arrivederci special dinner” in an old osteria. Accommodation. Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 7 BOLOGNA - MILAN: THE CONCEPT OF THE APERITIVO (210 km)
Breakfast. Departure to Milan. Lunch at your own. In the afternoon guided tour of the city centre (Duomo entrance is optional) with aperitivo/soft dinner in one of the bars that symbolizes the meaning of this typical Italian art: the aperitivo served with food such as pasta, salami, pizza, risotto. Accommodation. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast. End of the services. Optional transfer to airport or train station.
