Itineraries

DAY 1

ROME - MILAN

High speed train in 2nd class for Milan (duration of approx. 3 hours) at the requested time. Transfer on behalf of the passenger to the hotel, check in and accommodation.

DAY 2

MILAN - GENOA

Departure from Milan to Genoa. Port among the first in Southern Europe, the first in Italy, the sixth city in the country, Genoa has an important history as a Maritime Republic. Its historic center develops around the Old Port and is partly medieval. Visit the city center ending in the new area of the "Porto Antico" built on the occasion of the 500 years of the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus. Here is the Aquarium, the second largest in Europe. Free time for lunch. Return to the hotel and rest of the afternoon free for personal activities. Accommodation.

DAY 3

GENOA –RAPALLO – PORTOFINO – SANTA MARGHERITA

Breakfast at hotel and departure to Rapallo, famous tourist center. We offer you the fugassa, the typical Genoese bread called in Italian focaccia; in Rapallo you can try the variety with cheese, unique production in our country. Continue to Portofino. Around a sea square, this picturesque set of tall and colored houses is developed. In water, during the high season, you can see very expensive yachts of any flag and worldliness. Visit. Departure by minibus and arrival in Santa Margherita, famous town of the Rivera del Levante, located next to a Tigullio cove. Free lunch In the afternoon, return to Genoa.

DAY 4

GENOA - PORTOVENERE – THE CINQUE TERRE - GENOA

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Portovenere, a fishing village located at the tip of the Gulf of La Spezia. Visit. Departure by ferry to the Cinque Terre (in winter, when the ferries do not operate, the visit will be made with a panoramic itinerary by minibus). Declared World Heritage by Unesco, these 5 fishing villages, represent a unique location in the world both for the beauty of the landscape that surrounds them both for the medieval urbanistic charm that characterizes them. Free lunch. In the afternoon return to Genoa. Hotel accommodation.

DAY 5

GENOVA – SANREMO – MONTECARLO - NICE

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Sanremo, the city of flowers and the sun, known internationally as the official headquarters of the Italian Song Festival. Its economy is based mainly on floriculture and tourism. This small town of the Ponente Ligure offers numerous entertainment possibilities of any kind. Its casino elegantly overlooks one of the most beautiful streets in the center, and walking along Via Matteotti you can admire the wonderful windows of clothing stores and many others. Free lunch. Departure to Monaco. The famous rock, of clear ligurine printing press, is dominated by the Palace of the Grimaldi Princes. Visit the small old town, where you can see the panoramic Palace Square, the old Oceanographic Museum and the Cathedral, where between the tombs of the Grimaldi family you can find that of Princess Grace. It will pass through Monte Carlo, home of the famous Grand Prix, where you can see the futuristic Grimaldi Forum and the liberty silhouette of the Casino (if the trip is made by bus it is not possible to pass near the casino). Arrival to Nice and accommodation.

DAY 6

NICE – ST. TROPEZ – ESTEREL COAST – CANNES - NICE

Breakfast. Full day excursion on the Côte d'Azur. Departure to St. Tropez, town famous for the splendid beaches and the many stars of the show that come here to spend their vacations. Free lunch. Departure for Cannes passing along the Esterel Coast, known worldwide as the Corniche d'Or, thanks to its charming panorama. Small beaches follow rocky breakwaters and small islands, which overlook a clean and blue sea. Arrival in Nice and accommodation.

DAY 7

NICE – ST. PAUL DE VENCE – NICE

Breakfast. Departure to St. Paul de Vence. This town is a small corner of middle age, with its walls built by Francis I in 1537; His landscape has enchanted great artists like Chagall and Prévert who lived here. Return to Nice in time to participate in the battle of flowers with booked entry. Rest of the afternoon free. At night, illuminated avenues for Carnavl with party. Hotel accommodation.

DIA 8

NIZA – MENTONE - MILÁN - ROMA

Breakfast. Departure for Mentone, a border city that organizes the parade of the fruits of gold, the best way to close the Carnival 2020. Free lunch. Then, continuation to Milan. Train back to Rome and End of services.
