Itineraries

Day 1

ROME – NORCIA – ACQUAVIVA – ASCOLI

Departure from the hotel in the centre of Rome. Visit of Norcia and tasting of salami and black truffle-based products. Visit of Acquaviva Picena, the fortress village with amazing views. Visit of Ascoli and accommodation in a suite of a urban hotel (Sabatini Resort**** or similar)-

Day 2

COOKING CLASS – SAN BENEDETTO – GROTTAMMARE - ASCOLI

Breakfast at the hotel. Cooking class to lean how to make the olive ascolane, typical huge olives filled with minced meat, egg yolk and nutmeg. Visit of San Benedetto del Tronto, best seaside spot of the region and lunch with seafood. Walking along the narrow streets of Grottammare alta. Return to Ascoli.

Day 3

ASCOLI – TOLENTINO – URBINO - SIROLO (CONERO)

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Tolentino, an old medieval village. Visit of Urbino and the National Gallery of the Marche, with masterpieces painted by the local artist Raphael. Accommodation in a resort in the hearth of Conero (Hotel Novecamere or similar).

Day 4

SIROLO – PESARO – FABRIANO – ANCONA - SIROLO

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion along the Adriatic coast admiring the monument made by Arnaldo Pomodoro in Pesaro. Entry to the Museum of Paper and the Filigree in Fabriano, the biggest of Italy. Visit of the centre of Ancona, antique Roman city, capital of the region and its monuments. Return to Sirolo;

Day 5

SIROLO – EREMO DEI FRATI BIANCHI - CAVES OF FRASASSI - ROME

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the Retreat of the frati bianchi, a popular hermitage in the centre of Conero; Entry to the wonderful Caves of Frasassi; Return to Rome. End of services
